My name is Jeff Mitchell and I am in my second year of an Honours Criminology degree. By voting for me, you are electing a student that will establish the link between the student association and the students it serves. I see students as customers of the university; without us, SMU cannot exist. As an elected member of the Board of Directors you can be assured that I will put students first. Many people don’t know or care about SMUSA and the influence that it can have; I am here to change that. 



Why should I get your vote? I am a student who genuinely wants this position not for my resume, but rather for the opportunity to represent SMU students. For this reason you can be confident that I will work hard on your behalf. Allow me to represent you, a student, a customer of the university. Tell me what can be done to make your experience here at SMU everything you hoped it would be when you first set foot on campus. Don’t compromise your expectations of university life.
