Whether graduation is months or years away there is an event happening on-campus this Thursday that students should attend. The Nova Scotia Student and Employer Forum will be held November 19th from 10am to 3pm in the 2nd Floor Loyola Conference Hall.

An oil painting from the Saint Mary’s University Art Gallery’s Permanent Collection went missing late last month and an on-campus poster campaign has been launched to locate it.

With the semester quickly drawing to a close it is time for the tables to turn as students are given the opportunity to rate the work of professors this semester. The forms handed out in every class at Saint Mary’s help provide feedback to professors about how they can improve, and are also used to help make tenure decisions. Professors are expected to leave the classroom during the evaluation time and a student is supposed to deliver the completed forms to ensure confidentiality of responses.

With the first snowfall of the season a few weeks ago catching many off guard it is time to prepare for another Nova Scotia winter. The weather is changing quickly and the cold temperatures are here making it harder to pretend winter is a long way off.
